Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care (ADDC) Seminar
NATIONAL COUNCIL OF CERTIFIED DEMENTIA PRACTITIONERS (NCCDP)
Colbert Healthcare Solutions is a member of the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). Our staff are fully qualified to teach the official Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care (ADDC) seminar. For your convenience, this 8-hour course is offered as a 1-day or 2-day class. If you choose to complete the course over 2 days, you must attend both webinars.
About the Seminar
The 8-hour Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care (ADDC) Seminar provides a comprehensive introduction to understanding dementia and its impact on individuals and families. Designed to equip participants with essential knowledge, the seminar explores the complexities of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, offering a solid foundation for caregivers, healthcare professionals, and anyone supporting those living with these conditions. Through evidence-based techniques and practical strategies, attendees will learn how to address common challenges and provide compassionate, effective care. This seminar is an invaluable resource for enhancing skills and fostering a deeper understanding of dementia care. All attendees also receive a 360-page training manual/resource guide, which includes approximately 500 resources they can refer to after the class.
The class is 8 hours total, and we offer it in 2 formats. You can choose from a 1-day course or a 2-day course that splits the curriculum.
